Refund policy

Due to the nature of my small business, that is producing predominantly handmade works, that is soley run by me, I do not offer returns or refunds due to a change of mind.

Damages in transit

I take the utmost care in packaging all items that I send out. In the unfortunate event that works are damaged in transit please contact me with 2 days of arrival to report the incident. Please send through a photo of the items that are damaged, the packaging and the label. I will work to rectify the situation as soon as possible. I can replace the item if it is in stock or send out another item of the same value, (postage will be free of charge). I may even be able to make the item again, if time allows. (It can take up to 4 weeks to create ceramic works).

Best care for handmade ceramics

All of the handbuilt ceramics that are made by me love a bit of TLC. You can put them in the dishwasher, but to keep them looking beautiful and in perfect condition, it is recommended to wash them by hand in warm, soapy water with a non abrasive cloth. Rinse your pieces as soon as possible to prevent any staining, ingredients such as beetroot and tumeric can be hard to remove if left to sit overnight.

My handmade ceramics are microwave safe. Thermal shock occurs with ceramic pieces that have been placed straight into a hot oven and then transferred to a cold surface or from a freezer to a hot environment such as an oven. To use pieces in the oven safely you should not pre-heat oven instead place your handmade item in the oven cold and gradually heat it up, this will prevent any cracking problems.

Food safe?

All glazes that I use are food safe and do not contain any lead. Pieces that have been left raw and the bottoms of glazed works have been coated with a special food safe product called 'liquid quartz' this creates a special layer which seals and protects the clay surface and also prevents any staining. These pieces still require to be rinsed asap.
